We will kick it off at 7pm with a Somatic emBootyment Twerkshop led by Dorothy Morganna (@dorothymorganna). Twerking is about WAYYY more than how you look— it’s about how you feel! Join Dorothy for a somatic twerking journey to use this ancient dance practice to shake yourself into emotional freedom. Dorothy Morganna is a medicine woman, event producer, and somatic embodiment guide. After class, swing by Dorothy’s cacao lounge for an integration cup of heart-warming medicine before hitting the dance floor. 

We will then dance our way into an ecstatic dance set from Katie Scott (@katie___scott) (https://soundcloud.com/katie-scott). Katie is a trauma-informed embodiment mentor, tantric facilitator, chi gong instructor, ceremonalist, DJ, co-founder of EDance Chatt & Chatt Contact Improv, twerk medicine enthusiast, and full-spectrum love nugget. Katie’s sets are intended to be a sonic and embodied sanctuary. She weaves the soundscapes of the earth, organica (house), world/ethnic fusion, medicine music remixes, shamanic bass, deep tribal, and acoustic sound healing. One of Katie’s greatest joys is getting dancers into their hips and discovering their own medicine. 

The evening will close out with a sound healing from Szaltana (@szaltana). Szaltana is a sensual sound priestess, vocalist, and multidimensional healer weaving earth-born, etheric soundscapes to awaken the body, open the heart, and elevate the spirit. Her offerings infuse crystal singing bowls, shamanic drumming, indigenous tones and angelic vocal channeling into a vibrational journey that invites deep embodiment, raw presence, inner power, and cellular renewal.
