Curated for the Portland dance community, Low Indigo blends downtempo grooves, deep bass, and futuristic textures to create an intimate, body-focused sonic experience. Connect and melt into the low end with fellow lovers of rhythm and hues. Low indigo is an event for dancers, dreamers, and deep feelers.

Artist Bios: 

LAIILO

As one of the top cities in the world for dance music, Los Angeles has been the proving grounds for many artists who are looking to make their break and dominate the scene. That’s exactly what rising bass music artist Laiilo set off to accomplish and she’s already made some huge strides forward, even in the face of the global pandemic.

This self-proclaimed “Master of Laying Low” has been dropping some serious heat in the digital realm with performances during a number of showcases over the past few months. Whether she’s spinning for Austin-based collective Baked Up, taking the virtualDiscovery Project stage during the EDC Las Vegas Virtual Rave-A-Thon, or delivering a wonky set during SLVMBER PARTY on EDMIDtv, Laiilo has proven time and time again that she’s got her finger on the pulse of the bass scene. Her skills don’t stop after her set finishes either as Laiilo continues to hone her skills in the studio with collaborations like “No Limits” with Solarius while also diving into the realm of graphic and visual design as well. NOETIK 

International beat maker, DJ and instrumentalist, Noetik, brings a culture fused in deep, lush, break beat atmosphere. Painting landscapes with rich sonic tones and textures of fine recordings with a mixture of percussive originality. Influenced through indigenous futurism, tribal bass, grime, neo soul and turntablism, he invokes a unique and hypnotic experience while delivering deep alchemical sound waves to the dance floor. 

Noetik began his studies of DJ culture, HipHop and turntablism in 2004 and was quickly drawn to music production. Residing in several cities across the United States throughout his career, Noetik has shared stages with a wide range of musicians and performing artists. With 18 years of devotion to sound science, DJing and music production, Noetik has performed at some of the most quickly growing festivals and gatherings across the globe, such as Envision Festival, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica, Cascade Equinox Festival, Deschutes County Fairgrounds, Redmond, Oregon, the Symbiosis Global Eclipse Gathering held in the depths of the Ochocos at Big Summit Prairie, Oregon, Luminosity Gathering in Nahatlatch Valley, British Columbia, Cosmic Convergence, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, the Winter Music Conference held in South Beach Miami, Florida, main stage at Lucidity Festival 2018 Rising Dawn, Live Oak Campground, Santa Barbra, California as well as several others. Noetik has performed at several venues across the United States and has made an impact at some of the most prominent music venues on the West Coast. Noetik continues to expand his original break beat and deep intrinsic bass sound through global gatherings, underground events and international music festivals. LOWFYE 

James Lopez is a Portland-based DJ and producer specializing in low-end sounds like "dirty trapstyle-global-bass", Lowfye is known for their smooth transitions, cohesive layering, and floor shaking 808's" though-out their DJ sets. Lowfye incorporates various bass styles, including downtempo trap, wavy phonk, and dubz, with many global influences. They have shared stages with several influential bass artists and have been secretly moving dance floors in the Pacific Northwest for well over a decade and counting. Lowfye consistently summons more life to the sound system leaving the dance floor dripping.

KAELI HERTZ 

Portland‐based sonic architect Kaeli Hertz captures intuition, intimacy, and brings deep energy in every beat. On Instagram she defines her practice as “Translating emotion into vibration”  , weaving an immersive, slow‑burn aesthetic rooted in bass, Hiphop, downtempo, experimental club, and ambient textures.

Raised in the Bay Area and trained in audio engineering in San Francisco, Kaeli combined technical skill with a devotion to feel-based flow before returning to her hometown, where she now plays a vital role in Portland’s vibrant bass community.

Her latest track, “How Does It Feel”, dropped in April 2025 on SoundCloud and quickly earned praise from the scene—comments praising it as “fire af”, “gas”, and “phat” poured in from fans. The track highlights her talent for creating emotionally resonant vibrations that ripple across dance floors and headphones alike.
